Post initial 6 months, you have an option to choose the tenure of your plans. So you can either recharge monthly or other plans like quarterly, semi annually and annually.

I am getting plan change option from first month itself. I am just worried that it will renew the 6M plan again automatically.

In that case, better to change your pack to monthly pack before the date of renewal.
